Production Design Beginnings and a little Scalamandre inspiration

As I dig deeper into the subject of production design the more I know I want to learn and be involved in this design process. I have started gathering upon my interior design image collection and adding new and interesting pieces to keep for inspiration. One of my favorite textile companies is Scalamandre, I love the use of color and the pigments that they use in their wallpapers are beyond extraordinary, allowing for amazing colors to shine thru, which is hard to achieve with a paper. Creating Color Boards

I am taking production design this semester, which is a whole other post on it's own, but I have started gathering a vast library of color boards, and I love creating them. They are so handy if you are looking to find a color palette for a room or using them on an interior design textile board as well. They are fun to create and really make you think about the colors you are using, how they work together, and the type of spaces you want to create around yourself. Break down what makes you happy the most in the space and use those elements all around the house!
