With over 10 years of Interior design experience and over 5 years of product and interactive design experience you can trust that we are on top of all the new design trends.
Jennie Brown, founder of Pawcasso Paws has been a working artist for many years. Inspired by the tropical climate of South Florida, she began painting on glass at a very young age and her love of art and design grew. Her background includes designing for one of Philadelphia's top Interior Design firms, and a degree in Interior Design from Harcum College in Bryn Mawr, PA., a BS in Social Sciences from Florida State University, and an MFA from Academy of Art University, San Francisco, CA., in Interactive Design and Animation. During this time, she also began to paint personalized gifts for friends and family, including wine glasses, and other drink ware, picture frames, cookie jars, cake plates, and treat jars for dogs.
Relying on her talented gift as an artist and encouragement from friends and family, this prompted Jennie to open an online boutique and she is the owner and founder of Jbeedesigns.com, an upscale gift boutique, that showcases many of her unique designs, and has been featured many times on blog sites and other web publications along with other artists boutiques. She was Harcum College's Alumni of the Year, 2009. She is also owner of Posh Palm Web Design, which is a modern web design company, that features many creative designs, and offers the client a creative and custom approach in the design of their website. With her love for animals, and owning three dogs of her own, she decided it would be a great time to pursue Pawcasso Paws. Given her ability to design with both style and usability in mind, she chose to share some of the personal items she uses everyday for her own pets, and offer them on the website for everyone to enjoy.
Debra Latta - Contributing writer
Last week I sat down with screenwriter, Debra Latta, and after a very funny conversation, I am pleased to announce that she has agreed to be a contributing writer for Painted Preppy. We want to bring something new and interesting on a daily basis, so stay tuned for the schedule. We will try to feature party ideas, recipes, (she's a great cook, so you should really enjoy that feature) vintage items, pet info, fashion and entertainment, just to name a few.
As far as Debra, I think you are really going to find her posts fascinating, and you'll want to use her suggestions for your table, or a great tip in the kitchen, as well as which movies to watch, both old and new. She has agreed to also include a few funny stories from her friends in the entertainment industry, and possibly give us some gossip about up and coming films.
