It's no secret that I love sweets and I especially love, love, love cupcakes. Who would'nt love a sweet treat bundled in frosting and a cute wrapper? When I cam across this cupcake shop I fell in love, not only with the design, but with the amazing cupcake creations they offer. At I Bake Cakes, you can choose from so many different flavors and the best part is they don't use eggs or animal products, so for those people who are allergic to eggs and love cupcakes, this is the shop for you!

Sponsor Announcement!

I am thrilled to announce Painted Preppy's newset sponsor, 2Chic Designs. They started designing handbags & accessories in 2003, they offer adorable and preppy wristlet's and totes.  Cynthia of 2Chic Designs states that she wanted to design handbags that were practical and also beautiful. I wanted to inspire the way that a woman can create and outfit with just the right accessory.

I personally adore the plaid wristlet, I plan on ordering one this week!

You can shop 2Chic Designs online here:

Christian Louboutin Spring 2011

I love shoes, high heels, flats, flip flops, and especially designer shoes, which I consider little works of art. I also adore the color aqua, so I was pleased as punch to see the new Christian Louboutin spring 2011 collection, heels in the most beautiful shade of aqua, my new prized possession. I also love the new flash design the Louboutin website is using, the little heels that trot around the site are just adorable, check it our here:

Enjoy the pictures!

John Kiraly: artist spotlight

Having grown up in Florida and surrounded by the amazing works of John Kiraly, I was quite surprised that I haven't posted on his art sooner. Born in Miami John Kiraly's works are a magical mix of tropical, european, and fantasy scenes that will transport you into a different reality. You can easily lose track of time trying to visually take in all of the little details in his works. If you aren't familiar with his work I have included some of my most favorite pieces below.
